kellyn is ridiculously cute- as you can see- and she is also ridiculously ornery. Last week she turned 18 months old. A-Year-And-A-Half! Since she is a year and a half she is a "big girl". She is so very determined in her ways. She has mastered the word no, but she doesn't just say no. She says noooooooooha in a very high pitched exaggerated way. She defiantly knows what she wants. She has also learned to climb. She can climb on our furniture, our kitchen chairs and any other thing she can find. This wouldn't be an issue if she didn't love to jump on and off everything!
While playing outside Kellyn loves to take rocks and throw them into the grass. She will spend forever throwing the rocks in the grass then picking them up out of the grass.
just an update
We were so lucky to have some awesome days a couple weekends ago. I'm still pretending that it didn't snow last weekend (ugh). Since it was so incredible outside we spent most of one Sunday afternoon outside. Last summer Kellyn loved to swing at the park, but she couldn't walk so taking her outside was a pretty simple easy outing. Now, things are different. My next post will discuss all of her ornery ways, but now when we go outside I am spent blocking her from the road. Probably because I told her that she can't go into the road she now has a strong desire to go into the road. She is her father's child! So, most of the time outside is spent chasing her or blocking her from the road. For Christmas my dad got Kellyn this little Radio Flyer trike. Kellyn is a midget and can't reach the peddles. I was hopping by now she would be able to reach them, but she doesn't have a helmet yeat anyway so it's probably for the best. We let her sit on the bike and pushed her around. She was in heaven!
He's home
Sorry for my lack of blogging as of late. I know that Kellyn has devoted followers and I have been letting everyone down. :) Things have been crazy but are finally starting to settle down. Ryan got home a couple weeks ago. Needless to say Kellyn was very excited when he got home and wouldn't let him out of her sight for the next two days.
