Sickly winter
This winter has been horrible for Kellyn and illnesses. I know that it has been a bad year for everyone and this is her first year in preschool so she is going to get sick more frequently. However, she has been sick since November. There have been times when she has not been sick, but the child has had everything under the sun. Several virus, three ear infections, RSV, and sinus infection. Seriously?!. The last time she was really sick (mid January) Ryan had her in the doctor's office when her temperature spiked to 106.8 (yes, you read that correctly). She had two 'bad' ear infections (that she never complained about) and RSV. Luckily they were able to get her temp to come down with ice packs and it has not spiked that high again. All I know is that I'm lucky Ryan was there because I would have literally freaked out if I was there when her temp went that high. Since she had RSV we had to do breathing treatments. I was surprised she did so well with the treatments. Needless to stay we are ready for spring!
Snow day!
We got close to a foot of snow in about 6 hours. So, we all stayed home and played in the snow.
The snow was so deep that Kellyn got stuck.
That is Colton- our favorite friend. This was right after they stopped crying from falling off the sled onto their faces. At what age to kids learn to put their hands down first?
This is right before they fell onto their faces...
Then, we were done. It was a fun day!

The many faces of Kellyn
Below are the many faces of Kellyn. This was not me simply taking a lot of pictures of her. This was her telling me to take her picture, looking at the picture, then saying 'okay, take it with this face'. And repeat.
Winter fun!
Ryan was Mr. Mom for a week between Christmas and New Years. So, he and Kellyn went bowling. Apparently she bowled 108... I don't think I have ever bowled that well in my life.
Awesome snowman...

Fashionista
Above are just some of Kellyn's recent outfit choices. She insists on dressing herself every day. Some days we get some real winners. And in case you were wondering... we do go out in public in said outfits.

Random update on the wonderful world of a three year old with an attitute...
We have always had a constant struggle to get Kellyn to eat anything. Last night, she wanted a cookie. She was told that she could only get a cookie if she ate her chicken nuggets. She went into the kitchen to eat her nuggets and about 2 second later came out and said she was ready for her cookie. I asked her if she ate her chicken on all gone, while Ryan went to look at her plate in the kitchen. As he walks in the kitchen I hear Kellyn whisper.. ' don't tell mom'. Seriously?!? Her nuggets were not gone, for anyone wondering.
Last night while she was going number 2 ( she will thank me for this someday) she told that she likes to go poo in her bathroom because she is okay with the smell of her own butt. :)
Her new favorite sayings are " You've got to be kidding me", "what in the world", "Oh my Gosh, that is sooooo cute!",
