This morning Justin Bieber was on the Early Show. As soon as he came on Kellyn stopped what she was doing, danced and was singing baby, baby, oh. I pulled up his Video on You Tube so you could all see that Kellyn has joined the rest of the adolescent girl population and has Bieber Fever

Seriously, Jake?

Sometimes I truly believe my brother lives to annoy me. A few weeks ago he asked me what he should get Kellyn for Christmas. I told him something that would promote learning... shapes, puzzles, colors. So, what goes he get her? A ball pit. Seriously? where in the world am I going to put this HUGE thing with 50 balls.

Jake believes that it is educational because it is different color balls, which is a shape....



Oh, well she loves it! :)

Dad got her this little pink Radio Flyer Tri-Cycle. She can't reach the peddles yet, but she pushes it around and hides things (like my phone) in the basket.

And of course, she got books that she was obviously excited about.

More than anything, she loved to climb on this box and sit. I suppose it made her feel tall?

Coloring

Kellyn is now 15 months! She LOVES to color and read more than anything else. Luckily we had Christmas with my Dad and brother yesterday and she got some new books. Hopefully, she will like some of those. The child has a large number of books but has 3 that are her favorites and she wants you to read them to her over, and over, and over again. I'm ready for the new books!

When did this happen?

I'm not sure when it happened, but my baby is no longer a baby. Everytime I take pictures she looks more and more like a little toddler. I can't believe how much she has changed in the last three months. I had to share these pictures to prove my point :)

Uh-oh

As we all know, Kellyn has a very hard time sitting still. This has been an increasing problem when it comes time to eat. She will eat a little and then want down and play. we have been attempting to get her to sit, even if she is done, until we are done eating. This soon resulted in her throwing her food and/or drink on the floor. Last week Ryan was having dinner with his mom and sister. While eating dinner Kellyn did her normal, throw a fit and then throw the food on the floor. Then this preceded to happen:

Ryan: Kellyn, you do not throw your food on the floor.
Kellyn: Picking up a piece of food, holding it over the floor, Uh-oh as the food drops. (All while looking at Ryan)
Ryan: Grabs Kellyn's hand and slaps it (not hard of course)
Kellyn: Grabs Ryan's hand and slips him back.
