Cousin fun

Easter fun

Our town had an Easter egg hunt the Saturday before Easter. Any other time we've went to see the Easter bunny Kellyn has been terrified, but she assured me  this time she would not freak out.  When we got to the event Kellyn noticed the bunny, but she wouldn't get any closer than the picture above.   To her credit, he does look a little creepy.

She got her face panted like a bunny.
 Played on the fire truck.
Then.... we were waiting in line to get a balloon animal and Kellyn suddenly says, "that Easter Bunny isn't real. I saw it's neck. It's just a person in a costume, I'll take my picture with it now because it's not the real Easter Bunny. He's probably busy." I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that she is so observant.
Look at those two cute little posers.
Then, they got to take a ride on the fire truck. That is a big deal.
And the day would not be complete without running though a huge puddle.

Sickly winter

This winter has been horrible for Kellyn and illnesses. I know that it has been a bad year for everyone and this is her first year in preschool so she is going to get sick more frequently. However, she has been sick since November. There have been times when she has not been sick, but the child has had everything under the sun. Several virus, three ear infections, RSV, and sinus infection. Seriously?!. The last time she was really sick (mid January) Ryan had her in the doctor's office when her temperature spiked to 106.8 (yes, you read that correctly). She had two 'bad' ear infections (that she never complained about) and RSV.   Luckily they were able to get her temp to come down with ice packs and it has not spiked that high again. All I know is that I'm lucky Ryan was there because I would have literally freaked out if I was there when her temp went that high. Since she had RSV we had to do breathing treatments. I was surprised she did so well with the treatments. Needless to stay we are ready for spring!

Snow day!

We got close to a foot of snow in about 6 hours. So, we all stayed home and played in the snow.
The snow was so deep that Kellyn got stuck.
That is Colton- our favorite friend. This was right after they stopped crying from falling off the sled onto their faces. At what age to kids learn to put their hands down first?
This is right before they fell onto their faces...
Then, we were done. It was a fun day!

The many faces of Kellyn

Below are the many faces of Kellyn. This was not me simply taking a lot of pictures of her. This was her telling me to take her picture, looking at the picture, then saying 'okay, take it with this face'.   And repeat.
