We went to the doctor a few days ago. I warned Ryan before we went that my Doctor is a little strange. I am not sure strange is the word to use... maybe socially awkward is more appropriate. Like always I got weighed (I absolutely hate that part), had to pee in a cup, had my blood pressure taken and we listened to the heart beat.
It was funny because she started listening to the heart beat and as she pushed on my stomach Poindexter kicked and it was an obvious kick. I am hoping that he/she is like me and was sleeping and was kicking for her to leave him/her alone (I know wishful thinking!) Anyway, Poindexter's heart beat was 150. At the last appointment it was 170, so I was surprised it had gone down so much, but she assured us that his/her heart beat should be about 140-150.
Ok, so back to my doctor being awkward. At every appointment she asks if I have any questions. Normally I don't have any questions and when I do ask questions they are odd... like can I sleep on my stomach and can I eat hot dogs. So when I don't have questions she feels like she needs to fill the time telling me the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER again! So, I think next time I am going to go in with a lot of really random questions to fill the time! :)
We find out on April 23rd if Poindexter is a boy or a girl! In the mean time take the pole... boy or girl?!?

You are leaving out the important information,, how much have you gained?? I am looking forward to learning whether you are a boy or a girl, even though it really doesn't matter, we love you!!

The Daddy feels like people should keep the girl votes to a minimum. This way he doesn't get jinxed. He would thank you for your support in wishing for testosterone.

Poindexter this is great aunt Sandy again and I'm voting for a healthly baby...oh who am I kidding I'm wishing for a great neice(sorry Ryan but I have several great nephews whom I love but I think it's time for a great neice to spoil!!!!!!!). I'm really happy for you both and I will spoil whichever I get.... Love Aunt Sandy
