You can call me Betty Crocker

Have any of my loyal readers watched Jamie Olver's food revolution? I haven't had a chance to actually watch the show, but I have seen him on Rachael Ray and read his website. It is crazy to think about what kids are eating. I want Kellyn to be healthy and I want to be 100% sure what she is putting into her little tummy. With that being said I have decided to make her baby food. Yesterday I made, squash, green beans, pears, apple sauce, avocado and teething biscuits.
The teething biscuits are awesome in theory. In reality they are a HUGE mess. Making them was easy. Cleaning up after Kellyn crumbled one... not so much!

Below are some pictures of her baby food. I had to put some green beans in an ice try. Which, oddly is the way most website recommend storing baby food. Each "cube" is one ounce of baby food.
I fed her avocado last night. Needless to say, she was not a fan. That is the first food that we have tried that she hasn't liked. I will probably try it again today and see what happens.

WTG! I'm so glad I made all of Jenna's food and you will be, too! Once the cubes were frozen, i'd put them in ziplock baggies and then make something else. If I kept it in the tray I found that I was feeding her the same foods everyday. I'm finding that she is much less picky than other toddlers and I partially attribute it to all the fresh (frozen) fruits and veggies she had as a baby. :)

Look at you being so domestic! And organized. My kitchen is a mess whenever I make anything!
