Bath time fun!

This is what happens after the bath. It is becoming more and more challenging to get a diaper on the child!

Yesterday evening we took Kellyn to the park and had a great time until it started deluging. I'm not exaggerating. It was sunny and then all of the sudden it was pouring down rain.. Here are some pictures.

Sorry for the lack of posting. We have been busy moving and unpacking. I am happy to say that we are moved in and 95% unpacked!

Correction

In the last post I said Kellyn weighs 17 lbs. That is wrong. Two and a half weeks ago I took Kellyn to the doctor because she was still coughing. At the time they weighed her, but with her clothes and diaper on. Monday, her 9 month well baby check, she was weighed naked (the girl loves being naked) she actually weights 15 lbs 12 oz. Still in size 2 diapers! That puts her in 5% of her weight. Not so great, but she eats! The girl eats about 28 oz of formula plus 6 oz of baby food and a 1/2 cup of oatmeal at night. I don't know where she puts it! The doctor wasn't really concerned about her weight, she looks healthy and is continuing to gain weight, just not in comparison to other babies her age! She is also 27 and 1/4 inches long, 40%. She is just little, as we all know.
Other than that she is healthy and doing well. at her 1 yr well baby check she will get tested for allegories. So, we will know if she for sure has allergies.

9 Months!

Can you believe it? Kellyn turned 9 months old on Friday. I feel like she has changed and developed so much in the last two months. She weights over 17 lbs!
Since she is 9 months she has many skills/loves...

• Kellyn can whine maaamaaam when she is tired or wants something
• She is able to pull her self up and walk along furniture
• Any time music plays she head bangs (not sure who taught her that one)
• She loves to spit in your face
• She is very good at giving hugs and kisses (wet slobbery open mouth kisses)
• She can stand for 5 seconds without holding on to anything before she falls
• She LOVES to look at, dance with, and kiss the baby in the mirror
• Her favorite thing to do is try to stick her fingers in outlets.
• She loves to swing and be outside. You have to pry her out of the swing.

I'm sure there are many more skills/loves but that is all I can think of at the current time! Below are some pictures of Kellyn at the park yesterday.

She sat in the grass for at least 10 minutes and simply picked grass. I guess I know what I need to do to entertain her. :)

First time on Our Little Shrimp!

After many head aches, illegal activity, and inspections we finally got our house! We spent the entire weekend picking paint colors, making plans and just sitting in the large open space. We took Kellyn's pack and play so she could nap. She loved roaming around and playing. Below are some pictures of the outside of the house. I have inside pictures but I will post them with before and after pictures.
We have work to do on the outside of the house. It needs yard work (all the water runs to the house rather than away), a new deck/patio, paint, and just general cleaning up. Once we get the inside painted and moved in we will work on the outside.

We have a screened in patio. I hate it also, but I seem to be the only one. Maybe after a little TLC I will like it.
