She found it!!

That is right my friends, Kellyn has found her thumb! She has been trying to find it for about a week. she would suck on the side of her hand, but couldn't figure out that she needed to stick her thumb out. Last night she finally got it. I have been waiting for this... I really don't want to have to break her of sucking her thumb, but she NEEDS to learn to self sooth. Normally when we lay her down at night her pacifier will fall out and she wakes up. Last night I laid her down and she woke up, but I just left her there and she sucked on her thumb and went to sleep on her own. This is HUGE news in our house. She has also slept all night long the last two nights. She was waking up at 4:30 -5 ish every night, but the last two nights she has slept for about 10 hours!! Now, if she could change her own diaper...:) I will try and get a picture of her sucking her thumb today. She looks so cute!
