Sounds easy enough right? Well, I was skeptical, but it was only $12.00 at target so I thought I would try it out.
Well, I have done it for 3 days in a row and I can barley walk. I am not kidding. I don't think I have EVER been this sore. Lifting Kellyn is somewhat of a challenge and she weighs nothing. According to Jillian Michaels you have to fight through the pain in order for it to work. She also says that after 5 days the soreness goes away. I hope so! I will keep you updated on my progress. I also plan on continuing to run 4 times per week and do this video every day for 30 days!
Ok, on to Kellyn-
She is 4 months today! She is growing so fast... well kind of. She is still really small. We go to the doctor on Thursday. I have this fear that I am going to get into trouble because she isn't gaining enough weight. I don't think she is eating enough. Most babies who are 4 months should be eating more than 3 ounces every 3 hours. I read that babies should be eating 2.5 times their weight in ounces. If Kellyn weights 10 lbs (probably more than that) she should be eating 25 ounces per 24 hours. I know for a fact she doesn't eat that much! She sleeps for 12 hours at night. I kept track yesterday and she only ate 17 ounces.
Other than that general concern she is doing amazing. She sleeps 10-12 hours at night. Ever since she found her thumb things have been awesome! She doesn't want to be rocked to sleep. I lay her down, she sucks her thumb and goes to sleep. She is also freakishly strong. She likes to stand up. She also thinks she is pretty funny. I will put her in the exersaucer while I am doing dishes or cooking dinner. If I am not fully paying attention to her she will scream (like she is in pain) and when I look at her or ask her if she's ok she will crack up laughing. She will do this over and over again. Funny, funny girl.
Here are some pictures.
Thank you "aunt" Kendall. I love my Bumbo seat! :)

I started the 30 day shred last weekend and was so sore for a couple days! I've never had the 'easy' level of a workout be so hard! I really like it though - I can always find 20 minutes to workout.
As for weight, I bet she's just fine. Jenna was in the 10-15% until she started eating solids (we started just after 4 months because she kept mimicking us chewing food and grabbing for our silverware when we were eating). She immediately started gaining weight and by her 6 month check-up she was in the 75% and is now >95%.
I forgot to mention, if you are thinking about making her food, let me know and I'm happy to let you know any tips or tricks that I found to make it the most efficient. I didn't think it was very time consuming to make and I know I saved a TON of money, plus I think that Jenna got a greater variety of foods and she's turned out to be a great eater (whether or not that's due to homemade food, I don't know...)
YES!!! "Aunt" credit!!! The Best!!
So.... I'm gonna need to know if that video works...
